Photocopiers and multifunction printers’ environmental impact for our businesses is a priority for Sunshine Coast Business Solutions. Thus, our education for our customers is to reduce energy, waste, and paper through eco-environmental features, reusing, and sustainable solutions.
We follow FUJIFILM Business Innovation for their research into technology, and our products reflect our commitment to the environment.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation was the first company in Japan to sell plain paper copiers. Hence revolutionizing offices and the way work is done.
Our longstanding focus has been on providing multifunction printers (MFPs) and solutions with high environmental performance. Through our products, we contribute to reducing environmental impact for both our customers and society.
This ongoing commitment will further redefine the meaning and value of “work.”
With these ideals in mind, we have developed a variety of technologies and functions aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and promoting resource recycling. Our mission is to reduce environmental impact through our MFPs and solutions.
Today, we continue our quest to create work styles that are more creative, productive,
and have a lower environmental impact.
Work Quality Improvement and Environmental Impact Reduction through MFPs and photocopiers.
FUJIFILM Business Innovation pursues technologies that not only reduce environmental impact but also improve work quality.
Here, we introduce the technologies used in MFPs and printers and the related solutions that support both “environmental impact reduction” and “work quality improvement”.

Environmental Information on Our Products
FUJIFILM Business Innovation discloses and reports environmental information about its products in various forms.
Ecoleaf Environmental Label Program
FUJIFILM Business Innovation uses the “SuMPO Environmental Labeling Program” operated by Sustainable Management Promotion Organization in Japan.
This will promote the efforts to display the environmental impact of products, such as carbon footprint, as quantitative data via the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method.
Quantitative environmental information (Ecoleaf Environmental Declaration) for our products over their entire life cycle can be downloaded from the “SuMPO Environmental Labeling Program” website below.
Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) Value
The CFP values of copiers/MFPs disclosed under Japan’s Act on Promoting Green Procurement are calculated in accordance with the product category rules established by the industry and are verified and published.
However, it is not suitable to make a direct comparison with the CFP values of other companies’ products because the calculation conditions differ depending on the specifications and materials of each company’s products.
Environmental Labels
The following are the major environmental labels that FUJIFILM Business Innovation has acquired.
An environmental label is a mark that indicates how a company, product, or service cares for and contributes to the environment.
Environmental labels appear on products, packaging, technical reports, and advertisements and serve as an indicator for purchasers to engage in environmentally conscious consumption activities.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) has established standards for three types of environmental labels.
Type I (ISO 14024) : Third-party certified environmental labels
These standards consider the life cycle of products and services operated by a third-party implementation organization. The third-party implementation organization examines and approves the use of the mark in response to an application from a business.
SDS (Safety Data Sheet)
Safety Data Sheets (Material Safety Data Sheets) are an instruction of chemical products. They contain information relating to chemical substances used in consumables, their safety handling and health hazards.
